Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo - Shinjuku
3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1000)
"For the price during high travel (Cherry Blossom Season) Can't go wrong with this property. It's about a 15min walk from Shinjuku Station (once you figure out how to get out if the station. Lol) 7-eleven is just around the corner and plenty of dining options with in 10min walking radius. The room itself was clean and amenities were great, but just a bit outdated. Could use an upgrade. The staff was very friendly and professional. Would recommend this place to any first time traveler to Japan."

Shinjuku Kuyakusho-mae Capsule Hotel
2.0 star property
7.4 out of 10, Good, (1004)
"Capsule is a capsule, not a room. It's ok for what it is. Mattress was a little thin. Can't keep any items in it since it has no door, so keep your stuff in a small locker. Shared bathroom has hot tubs so that's great. Shared lounge / common room was big and fairly comfortable. Most annoying thing was they close the hotel from 10am to 2pm and you can't be there at that time. This should be disclosed in the listing but it wasn't (it is disclosed at the front desk)"
