“Tokyo Trip”

This is a great little hotel in a convenient Tokyo location. The Shinjuku train station is a short 5 minute walk away, and there is a subway station right outside the hotel's front door. The rooms are small, so someone with a lot of luggage would have a challenge. The front desk people spoke enough English for me to get by. It was nice to have a business center with multiple computers hooked up to the internet, free of charge.

“Great location”

The hotel location was great. It is a very short walk to the main Shinjuku station. I would recommend to skip their breakfasts and venture to the bakeries around the main station. YUM! (and cheaper). The front desk people were very polite and helpful. The room was small, though I wasn't expecting it to be large. My boyfriend and I had to figure out how to manage luggage, since we were only able to open one. The other was left standing in the corner. :) Other than the smaller size, which is easily dealt with, it was a comfortable hotel to stay at.

Area recommendations
Shinjuku itself was so fun to walk around. Lots to see. Taking the subway or bullet train is super easy and not a far walk to the main station.

“Excellent Business Hotel in Shinjuku, Tokyo”

We had a very pleasant stay and enjoyed easy access to the Shinjuku rail station, shopping and international restaurants. Staff is learning to accommodate international guests who expect service and amenities from even business hotels.

Area recommendations
Shinjuku, Asakusa, Kichijoji, Mitaka, Musashi-Sakai, Tachikawa are easy to get to and easy to navigate if you speak only English.

“Great hotel in a superb location”

The hotel is 5 mins from Shinjuku south exit and 1 min from the subway exit. The local area is great - well connected, safe and full of shops, bars and a walk away to the sights. Staff were great, the Queen size room had a good size bed and was clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Tokyo.

Area recommendations
West Shinjuku, Shibuya and Harajuku all have great bars and restaurants.

“Satisfied !”

The hotel bed is the best in Japan. Availability of bus service to Narita is very convenient. Their air condition is easy to control and works well, but you have to choose the mode to "Cool" , which is written in Japanese only. We avoided expensive breakfast. You can go to Family Mart across the street to get foods of your choice very cheeply.

Area recommendations
Ordinarily one should avoid Shinjuku, because it is very congested. But it is most convenient to go to many places.
Getting around
You have to study JR and subway map in relation to sites well before your arrival. Big department stores (Takashimaya and Tokyu hands) are located other side of JR tracks. Camera, electronics and watch stores are a few blocks away (You have to cross a major street, Koshu Gaido). Other stores can be accessible through other exits of JR Shinjuku station, but you have to ask around.

“Great hotel for the price”

This hotel is modern, clean, and in a great, safe location. The bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was that I arrived very early in the morning, with serious tiredness from overnight travel and desperate for a shower, but they refused outright to give me a room early, since my reservation was for 2 pm. They were pretty unsympathetic to my needs. I wasn't offered a room early for extra cost, which I would have gladly paid. Other than this, the hotel was nice and comfortable and the location is very convenient. Just remember which train station exit you need to take in order to get back. Shinjuku is huge and very busy.

“clean and convenient”

convenient location: 5 minute walk to subway and airport train station, also several dining and shopping options nearly outside the door. small bed if you have to share with a buddy. wifi only in lobby area, but ethernet jacks in-room (bring a cable if you can). couldn't figure out the pay-per-view tv receipt dispenser. bidet was nice to have. printer was out of order for the 2 nights i was there (i wanted to print some maps and boarding passes). courteous staff. would return.

“Convenient Location”

The hotel is a block from the Shinjuku Station, which is a stop on the Narita Express, and a convenient starting point to get anywhere by train/subway. There were plenty of restaurants nearby, and a convenience store right across the street. The room was cozy and comfortable. Good Internet access (only wired in room, wireless in lounge).

“The Best Hotel In Tokyo.”

My first visit to Japan and it was the best holiday I have ever had. I really felt at home in Tokyo, and in Shinjuku never felt safer. The hotel was so convenient, the staff always friendly and helpful and the service beautiful. I love the country, the culture and can't wait to go back again. Hopefully, for good. I'll definitely be staying here again. Sunroute Plaza hwaiting!!

“Great Hotel”

This hotel is conveniently located 5 minutes walk from Shinjuku station and has many restaurants and places to go wihin minutes walk. The rooms are very spacious compared with other Japanese hotels. They do not have a health club so don't plan to use the gym.
