"We had a fabulous time at the barn. Sally was so helpful and made check-in really easy and gave us suggestions for places to visit in the area. The barn had everything we needed and the secure garden was great for our dog. Our 2 year old daughter loved running in the fields and seeing the surrounding cows and horses. Would definitely recommend staying here! Hope to return in the future. Thank you!"

"Located on the edge of a tiny rural Devon village, this property was the perfect getaway for us and our dog. The village pub is great (although you have to be up for the walk up the steep road to get there), and the property hosts were there if you needed them, totally non-invasive if you didn’t. They left very useful recommendations, which we followed and were not disappointed. The patio area is a lovely sun trap well into the evening. "The host was so tentative and welcoming, and then left us to enjoy the lovely property. There were 13 of us and we all had a lovely time. The dining arrangements in the kitchen were great and allowed us to all sit together to eat. The kitchen was well equipped and the lounge area was comfortable. "Adorable and quirky little house, oozing with character. Comfy beds, great location for local shops and restaurants, and as a base to explore the area. Only slight negative for us was getting used to town noises as we live in a village. The Combat Collection at Cobatton, and Instow beach (both recommended by the host) are worth a visit, and my boys (16 & 14) loved outdoor laser tag at Survival Combat Games."

"We had a great time at Sea La Vie. It's a fab location, just sit outside to hear the sea and waves coming in, and that's pretty much all you can hear apart from the odd seagull! It's so quiet. Great base for a relaxed surfing holiday. Really well equipped kitchen. We didn't get in the car once in 8 days as there was everything we needed within a short walk. Highly likely we'll be back!"

"The Mole Resort is absolutely FABULOUS! Lodges are spacious, very clean and well equipped with own parking space at the door to the lodge. "What a delightful experience it was to stay at Instow Barton B&B and be hosted by Colin & Caroline. Happy, bubbly and a very friendly reception on our arrival. Nothing was too much trouble and they went out of there way to make us feel welcome in there home. Very generous size bedroom, large barthoom and cake was in our room everyday! Breakfast menu was extensive and varied. Quality of food was of a 5 Star standard and presented in a timely and professional manner. I’d go as far as to say that we were being hosted by a couple that were Customer focused and there main aim was to ensure that we received the very best service that was on offer. Can highly recommend Instow Barton to anyone wanting to stay over for a special midweek or weekend break. This B&B is special. Ian & Cathy Perth, Western Australia"
