Number 7 Spanish Villas is located in the grounds of Penstowe Manor on the outskirts of Kilkhampton and a few miles away from Bude. The bungalow is semi detached with its own private garden which has a grassed area, patio and patio doors leading from the bungalow. At the rear of the bungalow is a grassed area with a washing line and over looks farmland. There is parking opposite the bungalow. The bungalow is well equipped with everything you need for a self catering holiday.

A nice clean base for a few days exploring the area. One negative comment - not a complaint - is the internet is very slow, but obviously that’s not the fault of the owner.

The owners were very quick to respond to a small issue we had on arrival. The property was clean & well equipped for our needs. The garden is secure for your pets. ideally located for visiting - Looe 1hr drive, Padstowe also 1hr drive. Lots of other local sites to visit ie Tintagel & Boscastle & loads of beaches within in a few minutes drive. we will definitely go back.

Found this property a few months ago it’s not the ritz but it’s perfectly adequate for our requirements lovely bed feather quilt all you need kitchen wise lots of games if weather is bad we think it’s great.

Property was very good and thank good had a fully functional kitchen as after trying over 40 pubs we gave up trying to find a table anywhere and had to cook every night

Issues concerning cleanness of property

On first arrival place looked good and homely. However there was an overpowering smell of plug ins and candles, which we realised later on was masking the overwhelming smell of damp in the double bedroom in particular and also in the twin room. The towels smelt like they hadn't been washed and the bedding also didn't smell fresh. There was dust in various places in the property, including behind the bed, candle holders and under units. Fridge should have been checked as the settings may have been changed which caused some of our food to become frozen which we had to throw away. We expected better for what we paid especially having to pay electrify on top. We contacted the owner to inform him of these issues but he appeared unconcerned and unhelpful.

A cosy property which met all our needs. Comfortable and clean throughout. The kitchen was well resourced and we made good use of the oven, microwave and washing machine. Parking was diagonally opposite to the bungalow, so useful with young children. The children loved watching the cows in the field behind. Altogether a lovely stay and with a car close to Bude and some lovely beaches.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal in Kilkhamton und freuten und sehr über das wirklich gut ausgestattete Haus! Bequeme Betten, Netflix, schöne Einrichtung, gut sortierte Küche..! Auch die Terrasse war toll! Der Kontakt zum Vermieter lief reibungslos! Leider hatten wir nicht so tolles Wetter-aber wir haben das Beste daraus gemacht! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
