"Stayed here for one night after landing at Gatwick as it was a reletiveky short distance away. The building is lovely, in a very quiet area. The rooms are classic for an older property with sloping floors, that took some getting use to, but added to the character. "Both Sally and her husband were amazing hosts - very friendly and ensured that my stay provided me with everything that I needed and more! I wasn't going to have breakfast but changed my mind on arriving at the house and so glad I did. Fabulous mushroom omelette accompanied with toast. Only downside is that they close at the end of the month and reopen in spring so I'll just have to wait for my next stay!!! On the plus side this means that they get time with their family which is so important...

The pub did great food in a lovely dining room. -it’s perfect and we will come back soon"
