"Lovely house in great location. Took us a while to work out how to use the key but that was probably our fault! Also we were given the wrong code for back door key so could not use back door til we met laundry lady who gave us the right code! Showers were not great - some had no pressure or hot water but we managed with the ones that did work! Heating worked well. Dishwasher broken but we didn’t do any cooking so wasn’t a problem. We would definitely book this house again"

"Great position with lovely views. It was perfect for our family gathering with plenty of space. Really good communication with the owner. The approach is incredibly steep it was much better arriving from the top of the hill downwards. Great outside space would be lovely in the summer."

"My son and I used this as headquarters to visit some historic sites and relax before long travel home to US. It was a tight space but fully equipped and adequate for everything we needed. Nice hiking trails right outside the door. Beautiful setting. Owners were very nice and accommodating."

"We were so impressed with all the details and beauty of this wonderful cottage. It’s a gorgeous little town on the hill with ample walks and a FANTASTIC local pub - the Kings Head. We were so cozy here and it was the perfect base to explore all the nearby cute old towns, pretty roads, Stonehenge and Bath. Visit the Jolly Good Farm Shop for amazing sundries and the Lavender Cafe for a brunch that is impossible to beat. Bravo!"

"We had another lovely stay at the Lower Mill estate. Kids enjoyed the watersports, bike rentals, swimming and tennis and the independence of having it all within easy access. The cottage was a good space for the 2 families - 2 mums, 4 kids with a well stocked kitchen. It was a little dusty as nobody had stayed for awhile, which did also mean a lot of quite large spiders. Probably inevitable as you are so near the water but they were some of the biggest I have ever seen or had to deal with!"

"This is a lovely little place and very well decorated and the use of room is amazing. Beautiful views, lovely shower and was convenient as everything was within walking difference, 20mins of that to get into town. Only down side was there was no microwave and I feel like 1 could easily fit on the side. Also, it wasn’t as clean as I would expect. The kettle was full of limescale, some of the cutlery still had food stuck to it, the shower had hairs in there and when turned on there was bits of...
