Blythswood Square

No.11 Blythswood Square, Glasgow - Map

"Excellent hotel in quiet area of Glasgow"
We thoroughly enjoyed our single night at Blythwood Square, including breakfast. The hotel, though not our room, looked out onto a very pleasant private park and an architecturally beautiful square. It was a pleasant short walk to the main shopping areas and also a short drive to the attractions of the West End. An added bonus for us was that a well known Glasgow restaurant we had pre-booked for dinner was just a few doors away. The only negative, outside the control of the hotel, was the high cost of public parking outside the hotel ( £1 per 12 min before 18.00 and after 08.00).

"Great staff, great service"
We have stayed here many times and each time we come to Glasgow, which is 4 or 5 times per year we always stay here. Yes, they need a refurb, which I believe is on the way but the staff and service and facilities are just great. Our room, as always was very clean and comfortable with good beds. The breakfast is a hearty buffet and the staff are all very pleasant and very helpful. Top marks again Menzies! Eleanor Joan

"Overnight Stay"
Good deal offered by Expedia For the Holiday Inn at Glasgow airport. The hotel is ideally located for departures from the airport. Hotel staff were very polite and accommodating. the cost for the overnight stay was a real bonus and much cheaper than staying in other hotels or private B & B houses. Will book future hotels through Expedia for the best deals.

"At the U. of Glasgow for a conference"
Clean, quiet, a quick walk to the city centre, to the park, or to the campus. Great showers, friendly staff. Didn't try the hot breakfasts (...not a fried breakfast fan, more of a cereal/toast and jam man...), but the cold breakfast buffet was good. Wireless a little dodgy, but serviceable. Strongly recommend.

Myself and 2 friends stayed here for a xmas shopping weekend. It was a fantastic location. Very close to both train stations and shops. Our apartment overlooked George Square so was lovely with all the xmas decorations! Apartment itself was very clean and spacious. 2 bedrooms with one ensuite. We are booking again for next year! Would definitely recommend
