"Great location and only a short walk to the centre. The added homemade shortbread biscuits in the room was a lovely treat. You can really see how much love has gone into this property and how much they care for their guests with how helpful and attentive they are. The cooked breakfast was delicious as well as the homemade butter and croissants! Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to visit York. "

"Cute little B&B located just a few mins from the train station and about 15 min walk into the city centre. The room we were in was at the very top. Note, lots of stairs and to get to room 12 is a small awkward staircase but all good for us. Room was simple, though lacking headroom in places, had everything needed including AC, washer, sink, cooktop and fridge. Would stay again!"

"Excellent stay , The whole B&B was amazingly decorated throughout, spotless in all areas , room was of a good standard and great for my solo stay , felt safe and welcomed. "A nice place in a great location just a 5 minute walk from Grosmont Station. Its not a modern hotel, and rooms are not soundproofed so you can expect to overhear other guests coming and going. The showers are difficult to set to the right heat and are affected by other people using water. A bit of modernisation would help. Decor in room dated and could do with refreshing but otherwise, a nice friendly place to spend a few nights. "

They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay.
