"I can’t put into words how stunning this place is! The host had the place all decorated for Christmas since we were there for the festivities which was great as we had a little one with us. The house is very spacious and was spotless! Only bit of feedback I have is that the kitchen utensils could be doing with an update. I was cooking christmas dinner which was a bit harder as there was no working potato peeler and there was not a small knife to use, only large ones. There was also no whisk but...

"We had a marvelous stay.The property was clean and very comfortable. It had all we needed for a family of 4 with two teenagers. The views over the fields and valley from the living room were outstanding and made a great backdrop for our holiday. Nearby Crieff and other towns easily accessible. We will be back. "Spent a splendid week in the Old Schoolhouse in September 2023, a quiet, comfortable, well equipped cottage in the centre of Fife giving easy access to all that wonderful county has to offer. "The house is quirky, lots of stairs, so could be a challenge with small children. Kitchen needs a few more items to meet expectations. Comfortable rooms & beds, great to have so many bathrooms. Location is superb in the centre of Falkland."

"Privacy: lovely setting with private walk in the woods out your doorstep. Quiet setting with small pond. Attractive wood interior, a clean home with everything we needed for cooking in and relaxing. Wood burning fireplace with wood supplied. Easy, pleasant communication with caretakers. Long drive in from main road but worth it. Drive to groceries, restaurants. Would love to stay again."

"Such an amazing property, don't think the listing does it justice! We had 11 friends and a dog together for the weekend and the house was just fantastic. So much room inside with everything very well equipped. The outside space was amazing, a group sports day was hosted outside and the hot tub was thoroughly used. We will definitely be back!"

"I absolutely loved this cottage and wished I could have stayed for longer. Jacqui is a wonderful host and is so friendly and helpful. She’s also a good cook as the “welcome in” scones are delicious. The cottage is gorgeous. It’s well kitted out and so comfortable. If I could buy it and live there I would!"
