Strawberrybank is a self contained bungalow which boasts light and airy space. The comfortable lounge has a Smart TV and patio doors leading out to the private outdoor garden area to eat and relax. There is a modern fully equipped fitted kitchen with dining table so you can enjoy your meals in comfort. It has two cosy bedrooms, one fitted with a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with walk in shower. The other bedroom has zip and link beds which can be either 2 single beds or a super king bed when zipped together. Both bedrooms have Freeview TV. The house also has a full bathroom with a shower over the bath and a utility room with washing machine and table top freezer. There is a private entrance with parking for 2 cars.
Strawberrybank is ideal for holidays, visiting family & friends or working in the area. It benefits from being in a quiet location in close proximity to the A90 dual carriageway, providing excellent road links both north and south and is in an excellent location for exploring Scotland. All the facilities guests would need are nearby i.e. supermarkets, lovely eateries and bars and the surrounding area is lovely for woodland walks or just a walk in the countryside. Dundee and Perth are both within easy commuting distance and provide the full range of facilities one would expect from major cities. Dundee boasts a range of shops and vibrant cafes and restaurants – along with plenty of natural beauty, such as Broughty Ferry beach and the Law Hill. The V & A Museum and Discovery Point are popular Dundee attractions, perfectly positioned by the River Tay. Perth is popular for its museums, art galleries, gardens, entertainment venues and nearby Scone Palace. Perthshire's woodlands, lochs and hills attract thousands of guests each year as do the region’s many picturesque and charming towns and villages. The nearby A90 also allows easy travel to St Andrews and the East Neuk of Fife, Falkland Palace, Pitlochry, Royal Deeside, the Cairngorms, Edinburgh, Glasgow and beyond. Golf Courses at St Andrews, Gleneagles and Carnoustie are all about 35 minutes drive away. Strawberrybank is also well located for all local wedding venues including Fingask, Errol Park, Guardswell & Piperdam and Ninewells Hospital is only a 10 minute drive.
Bus stops are within walking distance for Dundee and Perth and the electric Ember bus service operates via Longforgan to Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Jennifer made sure everything was perfect for our stay. She had a folder with all the places to visit organized nicely. The property was clean and smelled great. We recommend this property for a relaxing time away from the city, close to restaurants and events.
The rental was perfect for two couples having two bathrooms in this cozy and effecient home. The location was convenient as we traveled to Edinburgh several times easily with the close proximity to the motorway. Jennifer, the host, was very helpful with our day trips. I highly recommend staying at Strawberrybank!

Great host, Jennifer met us when we arrived, which was lovely. The cottage was super clean and is well equipped. We have 2 young boys that loved playing in the garden and on the tyre swing. Parking was great as you have your own spaces. Great location for us as we were visiting family. We'll definitely be back.
We had a good stay at Strawberrybank cottage. Very clean and welcoming. Kitchen could do with some more stocking as in like extra glasses, plates and so on. 4 of each is a bear minimum. Jennifer is a good host though. Extra thank you for zipping and linking the bed for us 😉.

We stayed at this cottage for a week and it was perfect! Jennifer was a wonderful host and couldn’t have been more helpful! We forgot our charger for the baby monitor and she was able to lend us one. House was very clean and felt very safe during the pandemic. The house is a 5 min drive from the Main Street and 15 min drive from the V&A and 40 mins to St. Andrews. Loads of options for day trips to local towns, beaches and play parks! Would highly recommend!
I spent at week at this bungalow with a friend for a quiet holiday. The bungalow is situated outside the village of Longforgan in a rural location although not far from the A90 so there was some traffic noise but not too intrusive. There is a garden with a table and four chairs. It was very hot and sunny the day we arrived so we thought it would benefit from an umbrella but there didn’t seem to be one and for the rest of the week, although the weather was reasonable, we didn’t really need one. The bungalow is equipped for four people but there is no dishwasher which some people might miss. The hot water takes a long time to get to the taps but there was information about this and neither shower worked very well. The en-suite shower room is quite small. However, overall, we enjoyed our stay at Strawberrybank. There is easy access via the A90 to places of interest such as Dundee, St Andrews and places along the NE coast. We particularly liked Broughty Ferry where we had an excellent lunch on our last day at Sol y Sombra. Otherwise, we were unimpressed by the food available in local pubs but Dundee has a lot of eateries and is only about 5 miles away where there are also supermarkets.

Perfect cottage for a family break. Ideally located for visits to nearby cities and coastal villages. Everything you could need inside, and a pretty garden outside. Lots of local information in the cottage and easy communication with Jennifer, the owner, on booking and arrival made the whole break stress free.
Strawberry Bank was a lovely, well maintained holiday home with a friendly and helpful host. It has a great location for day trips to five and the surrounding area. We travelled with our 2 year old toddler and found everything to be very family friendly and accommodating, especially the mostly enclosed garden and the big lounge area.
