"Really close to Bootham Bar and everything that is inside the walls. Very warm welcome from friendly and helpful staff and even though my room was over the main road, noise didn't bother me. The room "York Theatre" was very well appointed with everything you'd need. Good size with a large en-suite and a lovely comfy bed. I'd definitely recommend staying here. "

The proprietor realised I was a lone female and moved my single ground floor room (as booked) and upgraded to a first floor double room for safety at no extra charge.
