"Lovely hotel. Everywhere is nice and clean. The room was lovely. Free tea and coffee. Free homemade biscuit. Alcohol if you wanted to purchase. Nice garden at the bag that we sat in. Room was nice and the bed was really comfortable. There was a sitting room but we never used it. I had full English breakfast. It was huge and delicious. Great location. 20 mins walk to centre of York. We were going to The Barbican. It was half hour walk. Thanks for a lovely stay"

"Cute little B&B located just a few mins from the train station and about 15 min walk into the city centre. The room we were in was at the very top. Note, lots of stairs and to get to room 12 is a small awkward staircase but all good for us. Room was simple, though lacking headroom in places, had everything needed including AC, washer, sink, cooktop and fridge. Would stay again!"

They advertise luggage storage and before we checked in they stored our luggage and then took it to our room when the room was ready, that was awesome, but when we asked for luggage storage on our check out we were told we would have to pay. "We arrived early and was welcomed beautifully by a gentleman (sorry I can't remember your name but he was Spanish). We were allowed to check in early and found the room to be so spacious, clean & smelt lovely. We used the swimming facilities which again where clean & tidy, also welcomed in by the young gentleman in the wellness centre who was very informative. On checkout (again same gentleman on check in) was so lovely and friendly. Would recommend this beautiful hotel and fantastic friendly team. We will be back again! "
