As with most New England Inns there is a warm welcome. There were home baked cookies when we arrived and breakfast was good. We were in the attic room which was small but comfortable, somewhere to sleep rather then relax. Only real drawback is that, although you get a private bathroom it is not en-suite. There are a variety of places to eat nearby though most need a car (or enthusiasm to walk) to get there.

The room we reserved was up difficult to maneuver stairs, especially for seniors with heavy suitcases . There were few people staying , but we had to pay more for a ground level with a kitchen, which we didn't want. The rest of the experience was fine.

This was our first stay at Whalewalk Inn. I booked this for our 30 wedding anniversary and enjoyed every minute of it! Breakfast was wonderful! We enjoyed sitting with other quests and sharing our plans for the day. Every part of the inn was beautifully decorated. The staff greeted us like family every morning and were so helpful with everything. I am already planning our next stay and looking forward to it. Thank you!

Very enjoyable two day stay at Penny House Inn this week. Friendly staff, delicious full breakfast, great location. Heated salt water pool and lovely gardens/grounds make this a comfortable, relaxing stay. They even offer afternoon tea and cake, as well as a complimentary glass of port at night! I definitely recommend~
