"Comfortable modern and clean. Good bed. Average shower over bath but good enough., and all in good order. Breakfast good albeit all self service. Good connections by tube. "

While we were waiting for the lift to go down to breakfast 4 of the cleaning staff were all talking to each other in a different language. They didn’t acknowledge us or say good morning then 3 of them got in a lift ahead of us leaving us to wait for the next lift. "

"Amazing hotel, really clean, every member of staff was incredibly friendly. Unbelievably convenient for the O2. Great to arrive on a boat up the Thames too! Only slight downside was checking in. Granted I was extremely tired and a bit grumpy having walked around London all day but I found the receptionist asking too many questions re "signing up" for something and asking if I wanted to book for breakfast at £32 a head ! Definitely staying there again for any event at the O2 though."

"The location is good with lovely views of the O2. It is minutes away from ExCel and The O2 and approx 25 minutes from central London. Ideal if you want a London break but want somewhere you can relax away from the crowds. "

"I was moved to the Crown Plaza re maintenance work being carried out at Holiday in Express Old Street. Lovely hotel however this added 1hr each day for travelling over to Shoreditch on the tube which I was trying to avoid using. The hotel was clean however I was quite amazed that they only clean, replenish tea/coffee/water if you ask! this is not done on a daily basis. "
