"This accomodation has been the best we’ve experienced so far on our trip. The bed was large and comfortable , the living area and kitchen were just right and the bathroom with bath was wonderful . It was lovely and quiet in spite of being close to shops. It was easy walking distance to bus station and pubs. Overall a terrific place to base ourselves whilst exploring Yorkshire. And we loved the heated floors☺️"

We found Jasmine Cottage very well setup and comfortable for our stay, with Angela quick to respond when a few queries for us came up. Local amenities extremely handy, in addition to being a well placed location for trips into York city centre."

"Fantastic property in a great area fir visiting the Yorkshire coast line. Great secure back yard and front garden area for the dogs. Comfy beds and everything we needed was provided in the property. Lots of walks and a pub on the doorstep. Would definitely recommend and return."

"A lovely little property, tucked out of the way 15 minutes walk from one of the gates to the city of York. We parked the car and then left it there. There were local buses but we didn't feel the need to use them. A very modern downstairs bathroom. The stairs were narrow but were aware of this in the comprehensive details. The host was very communicative and let us know all details in ample time. Thanks Angela (and John) "

"Very nicely renovated historic property. Fantastic for a family getaway after Christmas. Easy access in to the town center. Plentiful hot water. One observation is that the kitchen was cold/drafty and as we visited in winter this was particularly noticeable. The door to the main bathroom doesn’t close properly but did not impair our usage of the bathroom. Overall a wonderful stay!"
