"The first thing to mention is that this property is on 3 floors. There are 30 very steep, very narrow, stairs between the ground floor and the top bedroom. Although it does indeed sleep 6 people, having 3 double beds, the bed in the attic room is half under the eaves of the roof and you must bend double to get in and risk knocking yourself out to get there. "What a gem of a find and without hesitation would return. The bus stop is literally just outside around the corner where we got the bus to Scarborough for £2 esch way. We did the pub quiz on the Wednesday night for a good cause at only £1 each to enter with a free bowl of chips and a plate of sandwiches. Second night missed timings but given the options of having a taxi or takeaway, utensils etc brought and cleared away, nothing too much trouble. Great location for marina and town. Single glazed windows don't keep much of the road noise out but, had it not been for karaoke (which I was warned about and finished at a sensible time) I wouldn't have heard the pub. For the price, certainly can't grumble. Only main gripe was the fire exit sign, which I'm sure is far brighter than it needs to be. Bring shower gel! "
