"Great for cardiff bay"

"Not quite the 5 star experience that we were expecting. The hotel is very dated and could do with some TLC. The decking area outside of the bar was very dirty with holes in the seat covers and the whole are could do with a clean and a tidy up. You need to get up early for breakfast as there is limited seating for this and it gets extremely busy after 9am. The room was comfortable but it would have been great to have seats on the balcony so that you can sit and enjoy the view. I have stayed...

"We had a room on the second floor, not the greatest view of a filtration unit/metal framework but this wasn't much of an issue. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfy but the air con unit was so loud and the room was warm so we needed it on. Bathroom nice, but when taking a shower the water built up quite a lot in the tub. Overall a satisfactory stay."

"Basic business hotel, its clean and works though some people might find coach parties bit off putting (but they are kept separate). Loud noise of peacocks and cockerels in early hours (not a problem for me) reminds me of home, but absence of reliable newspaper supplier in surroundings is an issue."
