"Bright, clean and spacious room. Located right off the highway but in a lovely green space hidden away. The room was big with a large ensuite. It is a little dated but perfectly kept and clean and absolutely everything you could need - even an iron. Slept really well which is what you need when travelling. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The Celyn is located in an outstanding rural position. From the moment you arrive Sarah and Paul were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was good sized, clean with outstanding views over the farm. The sheep and lambs were in the field in front and it was nice to see them. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well. "Stayed in cabin 3, and despite reading some recent negative reviews, we were very happy with the room. It was clean, well stocked and the view over the lake in the morning was amazing. Breakfast was very nice and had lots of variety. Our only small gripe was the beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Mattresses are subjective and we were only there 1 night. Would definitely recommend and will be looking to stay there again. It’s also only 25 minutes from Cardiff centre. "

"We booked at The Town House Brecon as we were attending the Hay Festival nearby. The welcome we received was fantastic, the room was lovely with a big comfortable bed and we slept better than we had in ages. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and there was an honesty bar in the cosy lounge area. We would highly recommend this lovely B&B and would happily book to stay again."

"Lovely location, with a restaurant and a pub within walking distance, and a 24 hour laundrette at the service station just down the road. The room was very comfortable and the facilities included a kitchen, a dining area with a lovely view, and lounge with a large TV. The owners were friendly, helpful and gave good information on things to see and do."

"Situated at the end of a quiet lane with breath taking views of the countryside and the Black Mountains beyond, we were met by our wonderful host Sophie who welcomed us to her lovely home. Private entrance to the house, with everything you could possibly need, thoughtfully delivered to provide a very comfortable stay. Breakfast was delicious and the best I have had in some time. "Amazing trip at the Sleeping Giant Hotel which is attached to the Pen y cae inn.. We arrived and was greeted by Lee and Claire, they went above and beyond to get us into our room 3 hours before checkin time.. the hotel is clean, modern with no expense spared.. the pub which is attached to the hotel has a lovely restaurant, the food was great and good value for money.. we ended up extending our stay by a extra night as we enjoyed it here that much! If you want a great stay with a good pub next...
