"The property is spacious and well positioned for the beach. Difficult to park a car on their driveway so had to park elsewhere. The BBQ and oven were not clean. Leak in shower room and one shower not working but fixed whilst we were there. The property is lovely and the host personable. With the charges for cleaning i would expect it to be spotless. Check in time too late at 5pm and check out 9.30am too early should be at the very least 10am and 4pm. Especially with all the steps to get...

"My family and I enjoyed staying at this property - nice lay out so you all have your own little bit of space but nice big communal areas for spending time together - the hosts have left lots of condiments/cleaning products/utensils so you don’t need to buy/take lots of things with you - really pretty view. Sunsets are 10/10 and are visible from most of the house. The nearby beach has a lovely local/community feel to it. Overall - very happy with our stay"

Amazing Find, Highly Recommend

"An amazing hotel was a luckily treasure of a fine that I came across entirely by chance, and definitely somewhere that I shall be staying at again. All the staff are amazing, the food was lovely and my room was incredible (actually got a free upgrade as another guest cancelled at the last minute). If you are visiting Cornwall and fancy a lovely staff, give this hotel a try! Also, they have a bar with an amazing range of rums, and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Finally, if that was not enough, this hotel also let's you bring your furry companions with you, and they do special dog menus!! As in special food for dogs, not physically seeing dog as a dish!!!"

"I had the pleasure of staying here overnight whilst on a business trip and my experience was 5 stars, ample parking upon arrival, beautiful views, close to town. Friendly reception and restaurant staff, spotless large comfortable room, great food, couldn’t fault it, would definitely recommend and would stay again. Thank you County Arms Truro!"

"Customer service at this hotel is excellent. Lovely views.The only real drawback here is the parking...some is available on the quay behind, but if this area is used for functions it reduces car parking somewhat. There is some parking at front of hotel and also a small underground car park, but on street parking is at a premium...we hardly saw free parking spaces during the week we stayed. That said, would definitely stay here during off peak season. "

nice weather!!

"we arrivd later than expected as we had a traffic hold up (traffic jam) but we were welcomed on arrival. all the staff were brilliantt inc. housekeeping. People outside of the hotel were very welcoming and we brought sunshine !! to Cornwall. Thank you Charlie!!!"
