"Beautiful and luxurious hotel in the best location"
As soon as we walked in the staff were friendly and always helpful. I had some questions before we left which I had contacted them about and the responses were quick and very helpful. Once we had arrived these queries were noted down like they said which made for a very simple check-in. They had offered us an upgrade to an Executive Darling Harbour Room on the 29th floor which was ready when we got there at 10am which we chose to take. The room was spectacular! It was much larger than we expected and was very spacious! We were lucky enough to have a corner room which had a enormous corner window which really made the most of the wonderful view. The room was set out beautifully and was spotless clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very quiet even though there was a busy road underneath. Everyday the room was made up perfectly with everything restocked from the staff's great attention to detail. Every amenity we used was also great! Being a young tourist couple in a luxurious hotel may have made us stand out from the usual crowd however the staff NEVER made us feel this way and we were treated with equal respect which we really appreciated. Something I especially loved about this hotel is the way they treated your own personal stay - ours was for my partner's birthday which we had briefly mentioned to staff. One day we arrived back and there some delicious cake with 'Happy birthday' on it which was SO lovely! I could not speak more highly about this hotel!
If you wanted somewhere a stones throw away from the Rocks precinct and
Sydney Opera House then this is your place. We did a pub crawl on Sat. afternoon,
visited the markets at The Rocks and had a great lunch in one of the outdoor cafes
and it took a few minutes to get back to the hotel for a needed rest.
