“Can't wait to go back!”
Excellent hotel Great service !! Our room was very clean, tidy and big !! Stayed for 5 nights very close to CBD and walking distance to China down, Darling Harbour and Opera House. Very pleased with the hotel!!
“Cheap and cheerful”
The Sydney Travelodge is budget holiday which is of reasonable quality without any luxury. The reception and staff are not welcoming, you feel like you are buying a ticket at a train station. The air conditioning struggles in many rooms particularly when Sydney is hot and humid. There is a great coffee shop next door which is a bonus.
“Good value, with no frills”
I was only staying in Sydney for one night, so I didn't need an OTT lavish boudoir. Reception was very busy, but there were three friendly and efficient receptionists on duty so they managed the queue well. I was pleased to be able to leave my rucksack in the secure room behind the reception desk, and they were happy to store my brother's luggage, even though he wasn't staying there. Breakfast was average in a rather stark restaurant but there was nothing to complain about. Overall, good value for money for a short stay.
“Happy to recommend.”
Stayed 6 days in Sept 11. Not much to say except that we'd certainly stay there again. Pleasant, helpful staff - at all levels. Clean, comfortable & quiet (on the top floor); reasonably priced. Take it from a couple of older, experienced Kiwi travellers. We were happy & happy to recommend.
“Good experience”
Rooms were small but very adequate. We included the breakfast which was vey good. Staff was very helpfull. We went up to Coffs Harbor for a few day and have rebooked in prior to and after a cruise
“Will not be returning.”
We have stayed at the Travelodge Hotel Sydney for the past two years. The first time was fantastic, last year was passable, this year - we will never return. We had booked two nights and received the smallest room on the floor. We had trouble finding the room as it is right next to the lifts. The hot water was non existent in the kitchenette and bathroom sink. After reporting the problem, we were told to run the tap for a few minutes to allow the water to flow through. Our room was not serviced until 2.30pm and this was only when we asked the cleaning staff to come ourselves. You are asked to give a $50.00 deposit plus $0.75 fee charged to your bankcard. When you leave you are offered cash so they can keep the $0.75 fee. We filled out the complaint form and we did receive a phone call on Monday and the Manager said they would check out our complaint. It is Wednesday night - no return phone call. The breakfast was very ordinary.
“Bad internet”
Dirty glasses
“A good place to stay relatively close to Sydney's attractions”
The service received was, bad. I paid for a Queen bed and got two singles, no chance to change it... No internet available at the rooms
“would definately recommend to others”

“used before 2.5 yrs agoand was excellent on both occasions”
