The Ivy is close to everything yet on a quiet street. The property is very modern, love the flat (large) on the wall angles to the bed. Bathroom had his and her sinks separate bath tub and shower which I like. The rooftop bar was great. The only negative comment is that room safes that you can pick up and walk away with defeat the purpose of a safe. Everything else was excellent room furnishings stfaf etc

The hotel was an absolute dream!
In a perfect location whatever you intended to do in Chicago..
Close to the 'L' and the Magnificent Mile, and plenty of local eateries should you get bored of the in-house bakery (which I'm sure you won't as it is fabulous)!
The knock and drop room service was a fantastic idea, as were the little chalk boards on the doors for you to write notes to housekeeping staff, or just notes to fellow guests!
All in all a fantastic place.. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again should I be fortunate enough to visit Chicago in the future.
WE SPENT FIVE DAYS IN CHICAGO AT THE HOTEL FELIX. I REALLY LOVE THE HOTEL AND STAFF. IF I COULD CHANGE ANYTHING I WOULD ADD A REFRIGERATER TO THE ROOM. IT IS A BOUTIQUE HOTEL . IT IS SMALL BUT GOOD THINGS COME IN SMALL PACKAGES. WE WILL STAY THERE AGAIN WHEN WE VISIT. IT WAS CONVENIENT, WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE TO A LOT OF PLACES WE WENT.
I had a conference at Northwestern. The hotel was on the same block. The Magnificent Mile was one block the other way with multiple shopping locations and restaurants within walking distance. The front staff was extremely friendly and greeted me by name several times during my stay. I would stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel to my friends.
The Palomar was perfect for my husband and I in Chicago for the first time. Plenty of non-stop people watching from the street level terrace. Complimentary wine-hour at 5pm to top-off your day of adventure or start your evening with a touch of elegance. Surprisingly good coffee (also tea) in the morning to get you started. Big bonus - located one block from an actual grocery store to pickup supplies or buy a bunch of grapes when you're burnt out from too much vacation living.
