"What a diamond we’ve found. Beautifully situated and good parking. Spotless clean throughout the period property with a sense of luxury. Extremely comfortable stay which I was made even more special by the young lady at reception who booked us in early and served us at breakfast. We are dairy and gluten free by allergy which can be challenging to find suitable restaurants however the hotel catered for us and probably one of the breakfasts we’re had in a long time. The review format asked for echo-friendliness so had to mark down a little for the use of small plastic bottles in the bathroom and the individual packaged portions of butter, jam, sugar and salt at breakfast. "We enjoyed our stay. The location is great. The hosts were friendly and accommodating. They gave us good advice on the surrounding trails. The room offered beautiful views, was clean and well maintained. The property had a wonderful garden where you can relax after a long day walking. There was a nice lounge area as well where you could watch TV, listen to music or grab a hot or cold drink; some snacks available to purchase. The breakfast was ok. "Amazing happy staff, whose team spirit ensures you relax from the minute you arrive. Great restaurant and food. The patio area with chill out songs at the correct volume, ensure you are staying somewhere special, with heaters and fire pits to keep you warm. Well done to all 👏"

"Week’s holiday with our dog. Cosy little cottage in a lovely little village with plenty of good walks from the door or nearby. Positives included the excellent welcome basket with lots of lovely goodies, kitchen was well supplied and they also provided dog bowls and toys. It was in a good location near the beach. Cafe on the seafront, plus fish & chip shop and Indian nearby. As the hosts state this is only suitable for 2 adults, but it’s comfortable and very clean."
