"Our group of 14 thoroughly enjoyed our 7-day stay at the Cliffside Villa. The house is located on a quiet cul de sac just outside of the precious town of Ponto Do Sol. The house is spacious and easily accommodates a large group. The view of the sea from the pool and balconies is incredible. Communication with Carlos/Caty was quick and easy. Our host had delicious snacks and beverages upon our arrival which was such a nice gesture! Thanks so much for having us. We hope to come back to Madeira!"

"We had a good week. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering stay, sunny patio. comfortable lounge, well equipped kitchen. There is a little convenience store next door and a full range of shops about 1 km up the hill. The nearest resturants seemed to be about 3 km away so not walking distance and the traffic was a little busy but then it is everywhere in Funchal. The owner was very friendly did everything he could to make us welcome even though he did not have much English."

"We had a great weeks stay at Blue Sea Cottage. All information given by Bill was timely. Self check in easy. Villa is excellent. We had plenty of room for three adults. Great bathrooms and kitchen. Outside poll area and view is as per the picture. Perhaps some basics in the kitchen would be great such as pepper, salt, olive oil and cling film. "My family and I spent 10 nights in Calheta at Alberto’s beautiful home! It was a great amount of space for 3 adults and one 10 year old. Easily could have fit another family with the use of downstairs. The place was well equipped to make meals and eat on the veranda overlooking the town and the mighty Atlantic. "The location is great, on walking distance from the harbour and main restaurant/shopping streets in Funchal. The house and its garden are absolutely wonderful, very calm, providing both sun and shade. The garden is very well-kept and we all enjoyed the terrace and pool area. "Lovely Villa high up with warm pool you need a car lovely scenery two minor problems with shower and toilet but they were fixed easy communications with Miguel lots of activities to book in Calheta lovely port and Restaurants. We had a heat wave in the 30,s while we were there good job we had air con in villa. Thank you Miguel for letting us stay in your lovely villa"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The house has an amazing view, is big, and very clean - everything was perfect. Marcia was also very nice, and communication was super easy via WhatsApp. She provided us with a lot of information beforehand to give us the exact location and recommend good restaurants in the area. Much appreciated and highly recommended! My advice is to not forget shampoo or anything you need, as there is no shop within walking distance"

"Although a bright and pleasant house, it is showing signs of a lack of maintenance, with numerous marks on the walls, several lights that don't work (along with the clock and the safe), doors which constantly rattle with air movement, handrails with peeling paint that comes off on your hands and clothing, and a front door lock which doesn't latch. The location is good, with great sea views, and even though the airport is so close you can see down onto the runway, the noise is not excessive....
