"The Waterfront is a fantastic hotel in a brilliant location. Our room (as many others) had a wonderful view across the river to the golden roofed Sarawak State Assembly building and the Astana Palace and entertained us with a fabulous water fountain and light show every evening. "Good position close to the sea front restaurants and shopping mall. Room was roomy clean with coffee/ tea and water provided daily. Free toiletries. Swimming pool was clean with sun beds and towels. Breakfast had a good selection both Asian and European."

"Only that some chalets were quite a long walk uphill to get to them so you needed to be fit but otherwise a lovely place to stay and staff so helpful and couldn’t do enough for you "

"The buffet was okay. There is access to the pool at the Magellan Sutera as well. The staff is polite, but less attentive than what you'd expect from a five-star hotel. I wish the entertainment i.e. bowling, billiards etc. is on site. Instead, all entertainment including the jacuzzi are on the Marina Club, which is quite a walk you'd feel lazy to go to on a hot day. The water at the beach has trash. "
