We were in number 22 one of the furthest away from the main building. I loved being here as you felt part of nature. Just be careful with the wooden board walk as some areas are even due to the rainforest’s tree roots intertwining the boards. We were luck to have visits from orangutans twice while we were there. The first experience had the orangutang crossing the bridge near our lodge approximately 20 metres away. We stayed 6 days for RnR and absolutely loved this place. Meals and drinks are on the pricier side than other restaurants and street food, but you get what you pay for. The cocktails were skillfully mixed and tasted superb. The meals were delicious... My husband thinks the Beef Rendang is the best he has ever tasted. The rooms were cleaned daily and whenever we reported something broken it was fixed the same day upon our return from the days activities. Our room was basic but had everything we needed. Had lunch at one of the nearby hotels and it wasn't nearly as nice as Sepilok Nature Resort!! Food ok , most staff ok although you are made to feel uncomfortable or even unwelcome if you try and use the restaurant/ bar after 9pm. We stayed here for one night and truly lived the atmosphere. The day tour to Labauk Bay, organized by the front reception, was amazing. Tilavat bungalowit , siisti puupinnat kauttaaltaan , erityisbonuksena riippumatto kuistilla. Ravintolatila avara , lammen äärellä , ympäristö kauttaaltaan veherää sademetsää. Illalla järjestetty kävelyretki sademetsään tosi mielenkiintoinen , hyvin opastettu. Muitakin retkiä tilattavissa mutta läheisiin kohteisiin voi mennä omatoimisesti. Ruokailtiin hotellin ravintolassa , kaikki annokset alle 6 € luokkaa , hyvää ruokaa. Olut ja muu alkoholihan Malesiassa on arvokasta , lähes Suomen hinnoissa. Lähellä muutama muu resortti joissa ravintolapalveluita mutta muuten ympärisössä ei palveluita. Tänne kannattaa tulla rentoutumaan muutamaksi päiväksi ja nauttimaan luonnon äänistä, lämmöstä ja rauhallisuudesta. Henkilökunta ystävällistä ja avuliasta. I absolutely loved it. The rooms are big and clean and the restaurant is very good and also a very nice cozy place to relax in the evening. Staff is very helpful and friendly. I strongly recommend it.
