“great hotel”
Our room was very nice, especially the spacious and comfy bathroom. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and helpful. Our pillows did have a faint smell of mildew, and one was thick foam. Still, on the whole, a great experience.
“good value”
good value, great location
“Best place for price”
Highly recommend
“Excellent choice”
Stayed in a Club room overlooking the sea and night market stalls. This was an unplanned stop on route from Singapore to Perth when the Qantas planes were grounded and needed to find alternative way home. Very impressed with hotel so would definitely return for longer stay. Pool was closed due to routine cleaning of windows above and unable to use spa as only 1 member of staff and booked so disappointed. Meal in Flames restaurant was incredible and worth every mouthful. Close to Centre Point shopping centre and night markets.
“Fantastic location, excellent service, loved it.”
Had a fantastic week here in September. We paid a little extra to have the Club lounge access with a sea view and didn't regret it, definitely worth every cent. Were made to feel so welcome here with buffet breakfast, refreshing drinks all day, afternoon tea and evening snacks and alcohol. Never got tired of the view from the Club Lounge, or our room. The staff in the Club Lounge were excellent, honestly couldn't fault them, they were always happy to help, offering advice on local customs, shopping, tours and restaurant recommendations.
“Great Location Hotel”
The hotel is close to the Market, the waterfront and the shopping centre. It provided an excellent range of breakfast variety and were very helpful in assisting us with finding our way around and of transport to Kinabalu Park. I highly recommend this hotel .
“The best hotel in Kota Kinabalu”
My impressions were much more than the expectations..Unbelivable big room and very good servis.
“will definitely go back”
Will definitely be staying there again, fantastic staff, great location especially Edna in the club lounge room who went out of her way to assist our every need.ea and coffee are available all day with afternoon tea...all complimentary. Drinks and finger food also available for a couple of hours late afternoon. The sunset from the lounge room window is marvelous. The hotel is located right in the middle of the city. There are shops and night market on the opposite side.Local shopping centres are within easy walking distance
“Don't bother with deluxe”
Great hotel, stayed here on three different occasions on my travels around Borneo. Good pool, friendly staff and fabulous buffet breakfast. Paid a bit extra for a deluxe room on the last visit but only difference is that you get a sea view and they are slightly bigger.
“Fantastic hotel, location and staff”
This was by far the best hotel we have stayed in through Asia. The only minor complaint we had was that they did not clean our toilet until we asked them to and one of the teaspoons in our room had mould on it. The hotel location was excellent and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel food was fantastic and great value for money although eating out locally was significantly cheaper. We felt safe in the area and were only asked for money from locals twice in the 7 days we were there. Other than that, they did not hassle us at all.
