This was truly the best Hotel I have ever stayed in. Mike and sue made my stay so comfortable i honestly did not want to leave. They went above and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible and i will definitely be booking them in my future trips.
If you are looking for a great bed and breakfast this is a great one to pick
we stayed one night, to save a long drive home late in the evening. we were very impressed with the Hotel and the breakfast was excellent. we had a lovely room, with character, and an amazing view. All the staff we came into contact with were very polite and helpful. should the opportunity arise in the future we will stay again. :-)

Within 25 mins it is possible to walk from the hotel to the train station and catch the train into Brighton without having to worry about parking. The hotel rooms were clean and quiet (apart from a little road noise). The pub attached served excellent food and had a nice atmosphere. Breakfast was cooked to order and was very tasty.
The receptionist was very kind and accommodating, allowing us to check in early to change for a wedding. Breakfast was enormous and sustained us for a 7 mile walk on the Downs! The bed was showing its age but was fine for a one night stop.
We stayed at The Blacksmiths Arms recently and were very impressed by the hospitality. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. A light lunch in the bar was delicious and I can honestly say that the cooked breakfast was of epic proportions and one of the best I have ever enjoyed.
Our room was clean, well furnished and pleasant although it did face onto a busy road. The bathroom was very spacious I would thoroughly recommend The Blacksmiths Arms to anyone and it is perfect for Glyndebourne, only 10/15 minutes by taxi.
I booked a two night Stay at Cisswood House Hotel during a business trip to Horsham. Although my stay was short I was very well looked after and I could attend my business in Horsham refreshed and energised.
Fantastic setting, friendly and helpful staff and excellent food. Building was a bit tired but they have made the most of it. Rooms clean and comfortable but definitely worth the extra £10 for the bigger single, the standard is small. It is a bit out of the way but it is amazingly quiet and peaceful. The golf course although relatively new looks good we didn't play but a couple of the team are booking for a golf weekend.
If you want quiet, good food, service and a comfortable stay this is the place for you with golf as a bonus!
