Although our bed was comfortable, the room temperature was very difficult to regulate, with our baby's cot directly under the air conditioning vent and a window that failed to open.

"Close to the station"
Stayed at the ibis for the weekend, good location close to the station but as I requested a high level room I had the bonus of still having sea view. The hotel is only 10/15 min walk from the sea front and there's loads of independent shops and cafes nearby. Staying in a budget hotel meant that both on Friday and Saturday nights I woke up in the middle of the night with party people arriving and not being very silent. The Sunday night was very peaceful though ;) The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The new ibis shower rooms are slightly annoying though as the door has to be slammed to close (you cannot twist the handle), but the water pressure is great. The sound insulation is not great though and when the neighbours (next door, upstairs, downstairs) opened the water you could hear it loud and clear (if you have light sleep this may be quite disturbing). Overall you know what you're getting when you stay at an ibis and I would stay there again if returning to Brighton.

"Excellent last minute stay"
Decamoed here following checking out eksewhere due to noise, this was great alternative not sure we got the best rate due to last minuteness but we were desperate! Loved the room could have done with a bath but it was immaculate clean and comfortable and they seem to have thought of everything the dressing gowns were tiny! Corridors stunk like a curry house but this didnt permutate the room!

"Nice room, good location"
I was on the basement level, which made me a bit wary at check-in, but the room ended up being lovely. I miscalculated my travel time and ended up showing up two hours earlier than the estimated check-in time I'd given, but the staff got me checked in within 10 minutes and were very polite even if seeming kind of annoyed (understandably). The location is fantastic, it's just a few minutes' walk from the city center or the beach and has plenty of pubs and restaurants and coffee shops in the immediate area, but since it's on a side street I didn't notice any noise problem (even though my room had a window right out onto the sidewalk).

"small but comfortable"
Really appreciated the very comfortable king size bed and thick towels. The room was quite small and the bathroom tiny, but I think that is standard for the narrow buildings in Brighton. Terry and Chris were perfect hosts.

"Great b&b"
If you are looking for a traditional British b&b, this is place is highly recommended!! Staff were exceptionally nice, the bed and bedding of the standard of a 4star hotel with a modern en-suite. Rooms have Apple TV plus freeview and breakfast was very nice. Overall, when I am back in Brighton this will be the first place i look to. As with all b&b's of this type in British seaside resorts the stairs are narrow and steep, so book a room on the lower level of this would be an issue, otherwise the exercise was good for us and the front top floor room we stayed in is recommended
