"All the staff we met were extremely friendly and helpful. The spa area was very convenient and well maintained. We ate in the Pantry several times and the food was delicious. A variety of cocktails and mocktails were also on offer. The garden area is beautiful and has lots of available lawn games. Overall, the hotel provides a wonderfully relaxing experience."

"Our room was lovely, very spacious and clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well stocked. It was very quiet at night too, no banging doors, although not sure if it was because the hotel itself was quiet. The only negative was that the room was incredibly hot at night. We had to have the windows open quite wide overnight. "

Communal areas were clean but often shabby, needing some new paint but rooms weren’t as clean as we’d have liked. Was clear they had just had a quick clean but skirting boards, back of toilet and bathroom corners were very dusty and hand-wash holder had lots of old hand-wash congealed on to it. "Lovely property with fab facilities and polite staff. Great location with only a 15 min walk to attractions in Bath. Level of cleanliness was less than expected of a 5* hotel. Communal areas were clean but often shabby, needing some new paint but rooms weren’t as clean as we’d have liked. Was clear they had just had a quick clean but skirting boards, back of toilet and bathroom corners were very dusty and hand-wash holder had lots of old hand-wash congealed on to it. Breakfast was nice but it was clear staff were stressed and people/items were forgotten for long periods of time and items like glasses, coffee pots and bowls weren’t always clean."
