"A great weekend escape!"
I stayed at Ston Easton Park this past weekend with my partner. We were visiting Bath for the weekend and booked a room in Ston Easton at the last minute. We arrived at the estate late on Saturday and we were warmly greeted and helped up to our room. We were so surprised and pleased to see the guests drinking tea, coffee, and champagne in the common roooms - it was so lively and cozy (even at 10/11pm!). And the estate is just so beautifully preserved! When we arrived at our room we were shocked at the size of it! It was beautifully decorated, and had a nice little sitting area. It was such great value. Upon rising, we went downstairs for a delicious breakfast in a gorgeous dining area. When we finished our breakfast the estate manager gave us a tour of the servant's quarters, which were really interesting to see, and then loaned us the estate's dog, "Oscar", to walk around the estate! My partner and I were both so pleased with the entirety of our stay! We truly felt transposed from our daily routine in London, which made for such a lovely rest! I would truly recommend Ston Easton to everyone I know!

"Beautiful Hotel in the royal Crescent."
The hotel was absolutely beautiful with helpful friendly staff. The garden was particularly lovely as all the spring flowers were out and it was great to be able to sit out for a peaceful drink after a day exploring bath.

The Bath House Luxury Bed and Breakfast

40 Crescent Gardens, Upper Bristol Road, Bath - Map

"Ideal choice for a few days break."
Three night break at the Bath House. Nicely appointed clean room (with four poster) in modern styling. Tea/coffee/fridge/TV & DVD player & free wifi in room. Bathroom deep bath/decent shower/clean. Breakfast served according to your previous nights order in the room by the staff who are friendly without being intrusive. Choices from light (toast/cereal etc) to full english with juice/tea/coffee. Menu might benefit from offering a fresh fruit breakfast choice as I know some people prefer that. Bath itself is full of things to do and the Bath House is conveniently located, near the classical georgian Queen's Square, for many of these. Roman Baths (15 mins walk), Bath Abbey (same), Therma Bath Spa (worth a visit for a soak in 33C mineral waters in the open air rooftop pool with view of Bath, be prepared to queue though as no pre-booking for just the spa) (20 mins walk), Jane Austen Centre (next street off Queen's Square- 5 mins), Assembly Rooms (10 mins -"Northanger Abbey" ball described here) William Herschel's house (3 mins south), Royal Crescent (10 mins north across Public car park). You cannot walk 10 paces without finding somwhere to eat but a few places I would recommend are Sotto Sotto (Subterranean Italian cellar restaurant - great food and atmosphere), Gascoyne Gastro pub ( sometimes with live music), Pump Rooms (for a little elegant dining with pianist), and Sally Lunn's with her famous buns and tea (or coffee if you insist!) Bath. Well worth a visit.

"Absolutely wonderful"
We came here for a short break, and we wanted something that was comfortable and close to the city centre. This hotel was ideal! The location is very good, being just slightly north of the main shopping street and close to the Circus and Royal Crescent. All the major sites in Bath are within walking distance. The staff were incredibly polite, friendly and helpful. The rooms have quite a homely feel to them, complete with a sofa to sit on. Everything was clean, the bed was comfortable and warm, and the bathroom had a nice style to it. The one complaint I have is that there is no internet connection in the rooms, although I was just about able to connect to the lounge's wifi from our second-floor room. I don't normally go for breakfast in hotels, as it is always expensive, but the cooked breakfast we had here was certainly worth it: the French toast with bacon was wonderful, as was the coffee. The Continental breakfast is good, too, although I would recommend opting for a cooked one.
