"This is my second time in seven years staying here. I love this hotel. Great breakfast, great dinner, wonderful staff, and the one bedroom suites are huge and comfortable."

"The Shangri-La was an amazing stay. Upscale and classy, it may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it worked for us. From having an in-room check-in (no waiting in the lobby) to their on-site bar, confectionery store and multiple shopping options, this hotel is in a class of it's own. The only downside I can think of (and it's pretty minor) was that getting to central Bangkok will take you about 25-30mins by taxi. Not a major issue as you'll be able to see different areas that you may want to explore, but something to be aware of. "
