“Honeymoon bliss!”
Our first few nights in Bangkok were here at the Lebua. The hotel upgraded us without us having to ask because they knew this was our honeymoon and they even left a gorgeous little chocolate cake with "Happy Honeymoon" in the fridge! We were on the 54th floor overlooking the river, wow what a view. It's even more impressive at night! Breakfast was excellent, especially the pastries and the service was first class; very attentive. Sirocco bar on the roof is well worth a visit for the views over Bangkok by night. Prices were fine, slightly better than central London and significantly better than 5* London for sure. Definitely recommended.
“One of the best”
Attracted to the Lebua because of the skybar on the 64th floor. The sky bar was magnificient but so was the rest of the hotel. Starting with a great breakfast and throughout our stay of four nights the staff were consistenly attentive and friendly. Next time we are in Bangkok we will be staying at the Lebua.
“High Quality Hotel”
Everything about Le Bua is quality. We had a river view suite on the 22nd floor(ask for the balcony door to be unlocked if not offered). The room was serviced twice a day. The towels were the biggest and thickest we have had. The service was first class, in fact we felt a little overwhelmed at times. The breakfast selection was amazing. We only had 1 lunch here because we prefer to eat "on the street". and only stayed 2 nights. We would have liked to have a peep in the dome (65th floor) but missed out on timing. The hotel is on Silom Road, a good position for the river and overhead railway.
“Pretty Good”
Excellent hotel which caters for your every need. Detailing could be better in the rooms but that would be me being very picky. The hotel itself was very nice, and the bars/restaurants at the top are a must even if your not staying at the hotel. Location isnt great, but it costs about £2-5 to get around in taxis (and thats when your getting ripped off) so cant complain too much.
“Big rooms, great breakfast buffet”
Good hotel. The rooms are very big and the breakfast buffet is amazing. Also worth a visit to the skybar on the top floor for great views of Bangkok. We had no problems staying here, though the location may not be perfect for some depending on what you plan to do in Bangkok given the spread-out nature of the city.
“Amazing place to stay...”
Amazing place to stay.. Very courteous management.. They take all the pains to ensure your stay is comfortable and you enjoy the property at your own convenience. To ensure i do not have to wait due to early check in, they even upgraded my room without any additional charge.. View from the Sky Lounge is one you would never want to miss out..
“beautiful hotel”
beautiful hotel in all aspects
“Best Hotel experience ever”
Best Hotel experience ever Try the top floor restaurant too, expensive but super nice.
“Beyond Expectations”
Nice from start to finish and the level of comfort, services and breakfast make the lebua excllent value for money. The room had afabulous view and it was great to watch thunderstorms and passing clouds, so far above the ustle of Bangkok's streets. We loved the expresso coffee machine and toileteries. The room is huge and so was the bed. My only complaint would be that there is no TV in the sitting room and that can hardly be a complaint can it? The outside areas are stunning. The pool and sauna are great and the breakfast is remarkable. An excellent hotel. We will stay here again.
“Great hotel, beautiful service, not great for kids”
I stayed here on a 24 hour stopover with my 18 month old son. I was delighted to be upgraded to an amazing amazing amazing suite with jaw dropping views over the river. The quaity of the hotel and room fitout, plus the service of the staff really made it feel 5 star. My connecting flight didnt leave until midnight and I was allowed a (free) late check out until 2pm, with use of the hotel facilities until departure. However after relinquishing the room, I found it hard to entertain my son, despite the beautiful hospitality of the staff. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was bc of the rooftop bar and restaurant facilities but under 14s are not allowed - not even infants asleep in their prams! There is only one 'family' lounge/restaurant area and it is right beside the pool, which makes it a bit exhausting for parents of toddlers. In hindsight, I would have preferred one of the other resorts with a garden area - you really need an oasis from the bangkok craziness with a toddler. But overall, hotel was awesome and I would totally reccommend it to adults travelling alone or with kids over 14. Outstanding value for money.
