Artrip Hotel
2.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (713)
"The Artrip is a nice simpler option for those not needing lots of hotel amenities (gym, bar/restaurant, pool, etc.). The location is a couple blocks from a Metro stop, which is the best way to get around Madrid, and has many choices around it for a morning cafe/snack or other eating/drinking needs. The staff are very helpful and friendly, the rooms are comfortable and clean and surprisingly quiet with the windows and shuttler closed at night, as it's on a busy street which is loud with them...

Hotel Puerta de Toledo

8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (726)
"Great stay in this perfectly located hotel in Puerta de Toledo. It’s literally a 15 minute walk to the Palacio Real and most major spots to sightsee in the old town. Metro station is across the street, and bus stops as well. Supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Room was spacious and comfy, hotel staff was very friendly. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to the Spanish Capital"

8.2 out of 10, Very good, (1002)
"Great hotel with easy access to the Metro. We stayed here on our visit to the Madrid Tennis Open and found it perfectly placed to be able to walk to venue in around 45 minutes at a leisurely pace. My only criticism would be the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. It’s only a small point but it would have been nice to have the option to make a drink in the room on our return or first thing in the morning before going down for breakfast. Great hotel and very friendly staff, the...
