“Best Westren Atlantico Madrid, Spain”
- Comfortable room - Good breakfast with reasonable price - Great location in the city - Helpful staff with availability at all times
“great hotel, will go back”
great hotel for a 4 star at really good price and excellent location , will go back
“Good location”
We recently spent 1 night in Madrid (November 22). The hotel is centrally located, shopping and restaurants all around. Shuttle to airport costs 8 Euros per person, took about 1/2 hour in morning rush hour. Cab from airport cost 32 Euros. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet for 9 Euros had a good selection of hot and cold food. Staff were pleasant and helpoful. There is an outdoor patio on the top floor, which would be a great place to relax on a warm pleasant day. Would definitely stay there when we are back in Madrid.
“Pleasantly Surprised”
To be honest I booked this hotel last minute and only because my normal choices were either not available or too far away, so I wasn't expecting much. This was compounded by the fact that only standard room were available, After I checked in I was actually quite surprised in with the room, as it was large clean, well decorated and the wifi actually worked. The location of the city center with the shops and restaurants was literally a 2 minute walk. The only downside was the fact that I had to put up with being propositioned outside the hotel entrance everytime I entered or left at night. The one complaint I do have is that the hotel doesn't seem to have room service, this I think is extremely strange for a 4 star hotel.
“Hotel Atlantico is a great place to stay in Madrid”
Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly and speak good English. Rooms are really comfortable and the maid service is excellent. The rooms are equiped with all you need for a comfortable stay. The hotel is well placed for all the tourist attractions of old Madrid. The Gran Via is a very busy and lively street with lots of people and traffic, but in the hotel room all is peaceful due to the excellent glazing, which shuts out all the noise, except for the police sirens! This was our second visit to this hotel and our memories are as good as the first. We have no hestitation in recommending this hotel for your stay in Madrid.
“Very nice.”
Nice staff, clean rooms.
“All about location!”
The hotel was located on Grand Via, next to restaurants and shops. The metro was right opposite, the hop on hop off sightseeing bus stop was near by and a lot of the tourist sights. Nice busy area. The hotel was very clean and tidy. the staff were friendly. Liked the chocolate on the bed at night. Bedroom was nicely decorated. I have two small negatives - the hotel lacked atmosphere even though it was full. Also, I was in a single room and the room was quite small. But these were small negatives and I would definitely recommend and go back.
“Excellent choice”
The location is great. The room was big and nicely decorated. Had 2 sinks in the bathroom, enough light, and even a mirror for all body. it was clean. The breakfast was very good, also comparing to the price (9Euro).
