“very confortable”
very nice hotel, it is very close to the underground and most important madrid attraction.
“Charging 27 EU for breakfast without prior warning”
The reservation was without breakfast. We had a breakfast - standard and nothing special. the charge on the checkout bill was 27 per room per day. Since we left at 2 am, they tried charging for the NEXT breakfast as well. We felt cheated !!! Apart from this episode, all was quite pleasant. It's a pity they tried cheating us and left us with a bad taste
“Madrid's Best Kept Secreto”
We stayed at this hotel for four nights. The hotel is conveniently located. It is very close to the Atocha metro and railroad stations. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious by European standards. The staff was extremely helpful caring. The front desk employees were always ready and willing to answer every question and guide us. The location is excellent. There are many restaurants around with great and inexpensive food. Many major Madrid landmarks , such as the Prado Museum, are located within walking distance. We would definitely stay at this hotel when we go back to Madrid.
“Good hotel”
Our room was ready for us when we arrived early which was nice. The staff was quite helpful and pleasant. We were very satisfied with our stay and would stay there again. Highly recommended!
“Comfortable, friendly staff”
The hotel is well kept, rooms are spacious and clean and the staff were helpful. Some of the rooms have a very ugly view so, though it is is noisier, you are better off asking for a room with a balcony, higher up, looking on to the street. Easy walking into the city - 30 minutes to Sol.
“For Europe, this place is great.”
Grat location where we walked to everything in the city with. 10 to 20 minutes. Room was nice, clean, big bathroom. Very close to the metro and also the train station.
“Good Location”
We stayed here two nights and the location was great. Hotel was clean and adequate for our stay. Close to train station and city sites. Would recomend getting a one or two day pass for the hop on and off tourist bus. It was a great value and allowed us to see most sites in the city.
“Wouldn't stay here again.”
The hotel was clean but very noisy inside. The walls are thin and every sound could be heard, even just normal conversation in the next room. The rooms were very hot and ventilation system did not work well. We were charged for internet, using the safe in the room, breakfast, which was not very good. Smoking rooms are right next to non-smoking rooms so the smell was overwhelming. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the location was close to the train station and subway but I would not recommed staying at this hotel if you want to get some sleep!
“Very nice hotel, close to the train station.”
Hotel staff very nice and helpful. Short walk to the train station and museums and gardens. It's a pretty long walk to the center city.
“Convenient - know some tips”
This is a mid-range hotel with some reasonable deals. It's close to Atocha station and the Prado and Retiro Park. The road on which it sits is very busy, and the walls are thin, so if you're affected by noise bring good earplugs. The wi-fi reception is quite good, but you have to pay for access. There's a supermarket and a cafe nearby to get food if you don't want to try out the food at the hotel.
