"The bigger pricier rooms are lovely. However, the small room across from reception is dreadful. You have to go up a flight of 7 brick stairs to get to the bath, which is a woefully inadequate shower. The hair dryer is affixed to the wall where there’s no mirror. "My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Cavarchino. Our room was impeccably clean, comfortable, and had a lovely view of the Tuscan hills out the window. The bed was very comfortable. The whole property and residence has a peaceful and calm feel to it. The breakfast and coffee were tasty. We enjoyed biking while in the area and wine tasting. "Here is a rare find in the middle of Umbria just outside Citta di Castello. Area is agricultural, quiet and safe. 5 minutes away is the town with several supermarkets and clean laundry facilities as well as the 'castle fort' itself. Our room, Room 5, was large and clean. Arezzo and parts West, Urbino and Fano on the Adriatic within two hours car drive. Spacious parking. This is an excellent place to stay and a great central location to come back to."
