"The Bears Paw is a lovely country pub with a splendid kitchen and very comfortable rooms... and a very warm welcome to dogs!! The rooms are very nicely decorated, generously sized and comfortable. "Great hotel, bar and restaurant with friendly and welcoming staff, and excellent service throughout our stay. Room was clean, well equipped, comfortable and modern. It would have been nice to have had the heating on when we arrived but appreciate that we’d recently had a change in weather. Bar has wide selection of drinks and food is excellent. Views are fantastic on a clear day and outdoor seating is available. Would (and have) happily recommend to friends and family"

We had a classic double room and we were very happy with it the little touches of a welcome letter and Elemis products, the only issue we had was our radiators didn’t work so was a little chilly but William straight away brought us up an oil filled heater and...

"Excellent property for family of 6 adults and two children. Could do with a safety gate to keep little ones safe on the stairs but excellent place to stay. A little noisy in first floor bedroom as the window catch was broken so the window did not shut properly but did not dampen our stay "
