"Not quite the 5 star experience that we were expecting. The hotel is very dated and could do with some TLC. The decking area outside of the bar was very dirty with holes in the seat covers and the whole are could do with a clean and a tidy up. You need to get up early for breakfast as there is limited seating for this and it gets extremely busy after 9am. The room was comfortable but it would have been great to have seats on the balcony so that you can sit and enjoy the view. I have stayed...

"Last minute weekend booking for 2 adults and 3 children (6,6,8). Arrived late to a prepared room, warm welcome and much needed cocktail. Room had a queen size bed in a separate area with sofa bed and single bed in the main area. Each area had a large TV, would of loved for these to be smart tv’s but didn’t affect us too much. "Lovely room, we ate at the hotel and the foodwas really good. Excellent location for a stay before an early flight from Bristol Airport. Only 15 mins from airport. "

"The room was fantastic but the check in experience was very poor. We had a printout from an email which said to use the Gileston Manor Courtyard with cream gates as the entrance, upon arrival at 7:30PM (more than 3 hours before check in ended) the gates were locked and the number provided was going straight to voicemail. Texts and voicemail was left with no response. After waiting for 20 minutes with the car hazards on, on a main road, we decided to look around and parked in the Manor Estate...

"This is a special place, beautiful grounds, where you can walk freely walk. Our daughter had the opportunity to feed the Alpacas and sheep, which was very special. The accommodation is fantastic, we stayed in the Stables, which has a conservatory, it mkes all the difference to open these doors to the garden at the back. All in all, a very special place we can't wait to visit again! Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly."
