"The hotel is centrally located with access to all the amenities within walking distance. What sets it apart is the unexpected gardens at the back of the property where the accommodation is. A really pretty oasis that is carefully maintained. The accommodation itself is beautifully furnished and a lot of thought and detail has gone in to the added extras that make your stay extra special. "Unfortunately, as my trip was work related, I had to leave too early for a leisurely breakfast. Fabulous grounds, a great location and, having eaten in the restaurant in the past, good food. Miserable weather which made the room a little chilly on arrival. I hope to stay again at more leisure."

"I was welcomed warmly. The property is well maintained and pleasing to be at. My room was well looked after clean and with Towels and shower products well presented. Food was well priced and the drinks available at the bar were really good, with craft ale available. Parking was easily used and close to the rooms."

"The fabric of the hotel is gorgeous and the grounds are stunning. Our biggest disappointment was breakfast. We had a full English and the bacon was awful. It was over cooked and had then kept in a warming drawer for too long. The result was cardboard that we couldn’t eat. Also the white toast was so dry that it was like a crisp. So disappointing as we always look forward to breakfast when we’re away for the weekend."

"I stayed here with my partner for his birthday. Our room was fantastic! Very clean, any small extras that we could of thought of were included such as robes which was a nice touch. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The luxury of a huge shower and roll top bath was a lovely extra. Mini fridge in room was great to keep a bottle of wine cold. Tea and coffee facilities in the room were available. The cafe/ bakery downstairs was lovely. Coffee was good and cakes/pastries were reasonably priced....

"Having recently got a second dog we wanted to trial a dog friendly hotel and see how well they behaved and how well we coped. We were pleasantly surprised at how well behaved both dogs were. We were very happy with the hotel staff who were all friendly, courteous and helpful. The hotel is perfectly located next to the beach access.
