"Great property, my only complaint is that there is no food options after 9 or 10 pm. We were a late arrival and while we could order food via Uber eats, the property would not let us eat it in the bar which was still open. Seems like a loss revenue opportunity for beverages. "

"I enjoyed my 2 night stay. Comfortable room and comfortable bed. Staff generally good. Dining facilities generally good. Service good. Nearby facilities enjoyable and convenient. With swimming pool/sauna steam/gyms etc may make a vacation, though with limited stay duration such as mine, this would not be easily achieved on customer end. Countryside nearby wonderful."

"We had a quick overnight stay to break up a long journey and booked here so we could explore the area. In particular the Kelpies which according to Expedia is a short walk from the hotel. This isn’t true. It’s over an hour to walk and about 20 minutes in the car. Lovely hotel, superb big bed which was very comfortable. Staff very nice and dining options were good. "

"The staff was very attentive to our needs. The reception agent was also our bartender---she seemed to be there 24/7 and doing everything. Our Room was on the second floor and the elevator was out of order (how long??). We are too senior for many trips up and down with luggage. Good exercise though."

"The beds are comfy, parking is easy and free, wifi also free. Its a good place to stay in general and ideal for visiting family. Only issue this time was the shower curtain needed to be changed, had a really bad smell which tainted the whole bathroom ( room 110) "

"Norton House is a gem just a 15 minute drive from the Edinburgh airport, and you don't have to drive through the city to get there. The hotel and grounds are beautiful, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was very good. We didn't use the pool or spa, but it looked lovely. We greatly appreciated the free parking. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially as a final destination before your trip to the airport."
