"Comfortable central seafront hotel, huge lobby area and very clean and efficient. Large bedrooms and very clean but lacking character…..rather grey and plain. The regular rooms don’t allow much natural light in….as they look out onto a covered courtyard lobby. Very good buffet breakfast. "

"Great location, especially it you travel by train, exit from the side of the station and a somewhat smelly :-( municipal lift (not within control of the hotel) will take you almost to the front entrance and reception. The Lanes (great shops and cafes) and the seafront are a short walk away. Wonderful reception staff, a good buffet breakfast, comfortable bed, spotlessly clean apartment. The only downside was the very clean bathroom. The walk in shower needs retro fitting with a sliding door,...

"Friendly run pub offered great service when we arrived late friday evening. Explained we wouldnt need breakfast the saturday morning as we were leaving early to particiapte in the south downs challenge. Suggested a breakfast tray they would leave outside our room. They did and included fruit, cereal and yogurts. Stayed in the Firle room. 4 poster bed very clean and bed was really comfy. Drinks in the bar reasonable priced and lovely welcome. "The most amazing man who couldn’t do enough for you, the ladies were fab as well, fab time had by all , breakfast very good, room a tad small but very clean, excellent position, legends Sunday lunch and show was fantastic, ( need to book) highly recommend no faults with anything other than the weather, which nobody can control that, we arrived early at the hotel and they were very happy to look after our bags until check in time, thank you so much to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so...

"the room was dinky but perfect for one person and convenient to getting everywhere. It was beautifully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable - hotel standard. The street was quieter than anticipated so I was relieved to get a good night's sleep. Will stay again."
