"The hotel is just in front the Worthing Station, thus the name. Beach front is 25 mins walk, or hiking starting point is 30mins walk. We can deposit our luggage on check out day, and continue on our holiday around town and beach. Came back and claim our luggage and hop on the next train and travel back. Ease our travelling. "Great traditional hotel perfect for a local running event. Very friendly and helpful staff. Lovely evening meal at the on site restaurant (recommend the passion fruit posset) and the hotel kindly let me have an early breakfast. Only a couple of minor issues with road noise and light coming in from the side of curtain but this is just an observation - I am a light sleeper - and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Recommend and I will be returning! Thank you!"

"The hotel is a striking and unusual building, very handsome, though we would have appreciated better signs - the rooms in the 400s, which had to be accessed through the library, were difficult to find when first arriving. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the location of the hotel, near the seafront sights (the Mary Rose museum, Nelson's flagship Victory, etc) and the ferry ports. Everything clean and well maintained."
