"Hotel Excelsior was a very nice hotel in a very great location in Zermatt. The room was clean and modern the shower was amazing and while a small room it was very comfortable and included a balcony. There was a great view from the balcony and everything was perfect including the breakfast which was a very nice spread a very good clean food."

"Gorgeous little hotel, a real gem of a find. We had the best welcome of the week here during our train tour of Switzerland. A warm welcome and even a lovely bar of chocolate when we left. Lovely room with a balcony and just around the corner was the Matterhorn. Very generous breakfast with lots of choice and busy and attentive staff replenishing everything. Would definitely recommend. "Terrific location, couple of blocks from the train station. This is an older hotel, lobby is clearly quite old. But the upper floors have be all redone. The rooms are very modern and just beautiful. Five stars all the way."
