Costa Ballena Yoga Holidays

This was not the hotel we saw in pictures. We were very disappointed. The furniture was in poor shape, the linens and towels were older. We were unable to adjust the temperature in either of our rooms(up or down), Parking is available, for an undisclosed fee, but the local parking garage was less expensive and easier to access. The beautiful pool in the pictures is actually in the Spa pool for a fee. The biggest issue was the smell of the rooms. It was as if they had been smoked in. We requested to cancel our reservation for a refund so we could rebook elsewhere but the hotel refused to refund the prepayment. So we were forced to stay and endure the less than expected accommodations. Hotels.com was responsive, but left the entire decision up to the hotel and was not helpful. It is an okay place to stay for 1 night but not for an entire week.

Excellent property and location, close to everything including shopping, markets, stores! Easy check in and out. I would go back again!

Not enough wardrobe space for a week stay. Staff were extremely helpful and the Hotel is very well situated

The pool area was quite rundown, all the sunbeds need replacing as some of them were broken and also covered in bird pooh. The location of the property is ideal so it's a pity that the above facility let it down.

The location is really good, and many restaurants and cool places are walking distance. Usually there isn't anyone on the front desk, so it is really important to get the WhatsApp number to communicate anything.

The Room and hotel looks excellent, super comfortable bed, stunning bathroom facilities & waterfall shower (helpful bathroom necessities in the draws). Mini bar and the cutest surprise cheesecake in our room upon arrival! (It was Delicious!) The Property was very clean and beautifully styled. Views of the marina were gorgeous and lovely staff. 24hr gym, and roof top pool was lovely with towels ready on the shaded loungers. There were a few things I felt was missing but nothing that takes away from this gorgeous hotel. Unfortunately upon arrival when checking in we didnt get confirmation that the buffet breakfast was included with our stay. This was the biggest shame as we ended up looking for somewhere to eat each morning for breakfast and we would have much preferred to have had the breakfast we had already paid for at the hotel. There was no price list for the mini bar or welcome pack with information about the spa/rooftop terrace hours. The cleaner did a gorgeous job but did only clean the room once on our 4 night trip which I felt maybe it would have been nice to have a fresh bed each day. Finally we did ask for a taxi to be booked but unfortunately this was forgotten when we arrived downstairs at the booked time and we were on a tight schedule for a wedding. Luckily another couple attending was able to take us. Overall a gorgeous stay just a few minor things and our stay would have been absolutely perfect!

We really loved the historic charm of the hotel and the stylish decorative touches in the rooms. It was also very relaxing having the lovely pool area to come back to towards the end of the day. We loved this charming hotel

Only thing I found was snack menue expensive 13.50 for 6 chicken nuggets and no fries, as there us no restaurant this could be improved

Really enjoyed the stay, staff were great, food was good as well. I would recommend this hotel, it away from all the coastal tourists spots.

On the plus side the apartment was great, quiet and cool. It had what we wanted and it was well situated so nothing was too far too walk. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space. On the minus side, the listing on the Hotel site was a bit misleading. The first photo is of the beach entitled View from property - which was one of the reasons I chose it. The apartment is in the middle of a set of streets with no view at all. The host does not speak English - though Google translate worked fine and she was very helpful. Finally the listing says free parking. There isn't any parking at all! There is a station car park 2 minutes away at 16EUR per day.
