Costa Ballena Cheap Holidays

Its location is good and the reception staff are helpful and friendly. BUT. The sinks and baths have no plugs and you have to ask reception for one. Also they have no bar/cafe facility at the hotel (surprising for the size of the place), so if you lie by the pool for a few hours there is no food option and the only drinks option is a machine. No water or ice available.

Ideally located in the old town. 15 minute walk from the train station. A beautiful hotel with loads of history. All staff are brilliant, from reception, to hospitality (shout out to Brian) and housekeeping. Breakfast was amazing, you won’t go hungry. Bedrooms are spacious and well maintained. There’s also a minibar and a steamer for your clothes. Toiletries included, which were lovely, (and hairdryer). There is a lounge, where you can make a tea or coffee. Plenty of places to try tapas. We had 7 nights, in hindsight I think 4 nights max would cover it. Cadiz is a great walking city. Would recommend the hop on/off bus too. You get to see the new town near Victoria beach. In my opinion the old town is best.

The Room and hotel looks excellent, super comfortable bed, stunning bathroom facilities & waterfall shower (helpful bathroom necessities in the draws). Mini bar and the cutest surprise cheesecake in our room upon arrival! (It was Delicious!) The Property was very clean and beautifully styled. Views of the marina were gorgeous and lovely staff. 24hr gym, and roof top pool was lovely with towels ready on the shaded loungers. There were a few things I felt was missing but nothing that takes away from this gorgeous hotel. Unfortunately upon arrival when checking in we didnt get confirmation that the buffet breakfast was included with our stay. This was the biggest shame as we ended up looking for somewhere to eat each morning for breakfast and we would have much preferred to have had the breakfast we had already paid for at the hotel. There was no price list for the mini bar or welcome pack with information about the spa/rooftop terrace hours. The cleaner did a gorgeous job but did only clean the room once on our 4 night trip which I felt maybe it would have been nice to have a fresh bed each day. Finally we did ask for a taxi to be booked but unfortunately this was forgotten when we arrived downstairs at the booked time and we were on a tight schedule for a wedding. Luckily another couple attending was able to take us. Overall a gorgeous stay just a few minor things and our stay would have been absolutely perfect!

Amazing experience at the Inmood hotel. Professional staff! Everything is perfect. From the breakfast to the dinner! By the way, I ate one of the greatest Burger ever!

Our stay was wonderful. Breakfast and dinner was fabulous. The grounds were beautiful. Will definitely be back. A hidden gem.

On the plus side the apartment was great, quiet and cool. It had what we wanted and it was well situated so nothing was too far too walk. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space. On the minus side, the listing on the Hotel site was a bit misleading. The first photo is of the beach entitled View from property - which was one of the reasons I chose it. The apartment is in the middle of a set of streets with no view at all. The host does not speak English - though Google translate worked fine and she was very helpful. Finally the listing says free parking. There isn't any parking at all! There is a station car park 2 minutes away at 16EUR per day.
