(525 reviews) The property was very nice. I had issues with the staff and it was impossible to get fresh towels when requested. The system with using the app to make request is pointless when they don't respond. Also calling the front desk and guest services did not produce results. I also had issues with guest services and using the business center. The logistics behind staying here was less than favorable. From the moment we arrived, I was brought to tears — and that feeling never left. This resort is truly something special. Everything exceeded our expectations: the people, the service, the food, the cocktails, and of course, the views. We stayed in Room N, which was on the smaller side but absolutely perfect for us — intimate, peaceful, and exactly what we wanted for our honeymoon. We dined at Dasheene every single night and still couldn’t get enough. We’ll be dreaming about the shrimp risotto, blackened tuna, and the post-dinner chocolates for a very long time. The staff are what truly make Ladera unforgettable. A few people deserve special recognition: Stephanie, who handled our turndown service with such care Abigail at the front desk, who was always warm and welcoming Janelle at Dasheene, who went out of her way every night to say hello and make us feel remembered And our absolute favorite — the gentleman at the Hideaway Rum Bar, who was unbelievably kind and even shared the recipe for our favorite nightly cocktails I was emotional when we arrived, and just as emotional when it was time to leave. Ladera is not just a resort — it’s an experience, and one we will cherish forever. We cannot wait to return.
