Had a lovely stay here! The staff were friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful throughout. The hotel is in a great location, making it easy to get around and explore. Overall, a really enjoyable experience and I’d happily stay again.

Loved the location of the hotel up on the hill with a pretty view. The room was clean and cozy, and parking was great. My only complaint was the shower. It didn’t drain properly so water ended up all over the entire bathroom. We had to use our towels as barriers to keep the water from going everywhere.

We had a wonderful stay at The Robinson Hotel. It felt strange being the only English people staying however the staff made us so welcome. What we were unaware of was the Themed nights. So that was slightly awkward but nobody made us feel bad not joining in.

Villa Flöckner is super convenient to the Hauptbahnhof, no more than a 5-6 walk. Room was VERY quiet and A/C worked great. A bus stop (my ticket was free) is just across the street and provides ready access to the Alt Stadt in 15 minutes. That said, the old town is not close, requiring a bus ride or a ~30+ minute walk. Still, if you go along the river, it is a pretty walk. Breakfast was good but not as varied as other places I visited on this trip. A word of caution - if you are mobility impaired, this is not the place to stay. Although there is an elevator, it opens between floors, meaning you must walk up or down stairs, even to get to the main office to check in or check out.
