Hontoon Island State Park Pet-friendly Holidays

This was our first time at Westgate Lakes Resort, and we will definitely come back! We had an amazing and HUGE 2 bedroom unit that overlooked a lake, and it was also very convenient to one of the pools. Also close to the shops, restaurants and main building. We unfortunately had some bad weather and couldn't enjoy the water park, but I went to the fitness center and it was outstanding! All of the staff was helpful, the beds were super comfortable and I even got to enjoy a bubble bath in the huge jacuzzi tub in the master bedroom. There were ample towels, hand towels, toilet paper, paper towels etc. I highly recommend this resort, we were 15 minutes from Universal Theme Parks, as well as only a few minutes from International Drive and other restaurants and the Kia Center. We'll definitely come back, as we visit Orlando often! The only slight negative at all was the check in Friday night was very busy and took a little bit, and also our key stopped working before our check out time but we were able to text the front desk and they set up for us to reactivate our key from the building. Very efficient and nice staff though, Jennica at the front was wonderful and the assistance we got with our bags was so appreciated from the person who also led us to our building. Looking forward to our next trip to hopefully be able to stay at Westgate again!

The apt is very clean and new. The location of the property is centric to Disney parks; we Uber everywhere, between 10-18 minutes to the attractions. There is a shopping center with Marshalls, Keke’s diner; Sports shops, Other chain restaurants like Texas Steak Road or The Olive Garden in the same area. We did not use the pool or the gym, but there is also a nice, clean outdoor area with grills, tables, pool etc. The only complain is the address in our reservation was main to the Leasing Office and we spent some time trying to figure out where was our apt, due building was not specified in the confirmation. We call the phone number for the host and he was very friendly and explained us how to get to the right unit.

After having our original destination cancel 5 minutes before arrival we were sent to this place as an only option. We arrived at a beautiful hotel where we checked in; only to be sent to another location within the community. This location first site was over loaded trash containers, rusty doors, rotting wood on outside of home. To be fair the inside of the home was nice and clean. However it did not accommodate the number of people in my party as promised. Had to sleep on the floor. If I had a choice this would not be a place i would’ve chosen

EVERYTHING WAS TOP TIER! I have absolutey no complaints AT ALL! I cannot WAIT to get back to the Conrad Evermore! My suite was beautiful the people so helpful and nice! Grounds are beautiful! Don’t hesitate JUST BOOK IT

Close proximity to the amusement parks. Decent breakfast. Very friendly staff. Nice and quiet and felt safe staying there. Close to a lot of restaurants and stores. Great price. Family of 4.Would definitely stay there again.

Our flight was cancelled last minute and we needed a spot just for the night. I found this location to be close to the airport with a free shuttle and free breakfast. It was also walking distance to at least 5-6 restaurants. We were pleasantly surprised with the property after getting such a great rate. It was very clean, beds were comfortable, the room was spacious and had a fridge, coffee maker, microwave. Bathroom was very clean and had all the necessities. We felt that the room was fancier than our room at the parks that was 10 times the price. The hotel is older, but the up keep for the age was done well. There is an outdoor pool, gym and indoor hot tub that we did not use, but looked very nice. Staff were wonderful. When I called inquiring about the shuttle they were very informative and super friendly. When we arrived, check in was swift and all staff were very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again.
