We enjoyed our stay and had a great time. This property is in the perfect location, close to shopping, places to eat and right on the beach. The view and the pool area are amazing, it’s absolutely worth it to upgrade to an ocean view room. We were in room D306, a 2 bedroom suite, and this room needs a good cleaning. Stains on the carpet, kitchen and bathrooms were not cleaned very well, and the bedding did not look clean.

Staff not very welcoming made ride comment. Room not as expected. Paid for ocean view and got partial ocean view and ended up changing rooms three times. Expensive prices for average food.

Choose other resorts. The amenities for this resort are not worth the money. There is only one restaurant and its not open all the time. The beach is 1/2 mile walk. The beach is not just for this property but for many others. Staff is very friendly, but not much they can do about the issues.

Loved that the hotel was in an old Hawaiian neighborhood/area with chickens, cats, roosters and a peacock comfortably enjoying the property, as well. The staff was welcoming and friendly and helpful, when needed. Although we did not hang out, outside to listen to the live music, we enjoyed it from the comfort of our room. My one complaint, and it did bother me about the property, is that it only had one washer available for the entire property, along with only one working dryer. If you book here, do your laundry before arriving or don’t expect to get it done on the property. If you are able to pull it off, consider yourself lucky. There is room inside the laundry room for two, stacked washer/dryer units and they should install these to be more accommodating to guests. As it stands, there is only one washer available and two dryers, but only one works. The other has an “ out of order” sign on it that looks like it has been there for awhile. Not good.

The resort was lovely in every way; on the beach, had vans that would take you back and forth to town, beautiful setting, well decorated suites, and helpful staff. We loved our room so much that we cooked in two nights instead of eating out; we had the best view right from our room!
